Introduction
I used to use IM a lot while doing my homework but then I had to have a conference with my teacher about my bad homework. My parents started making me do my homework with them around after that so I couldn't have IM open. As you can see from the blogs I put here I wasn't happy about their plan. It's not that bad though. I get my work done right away and then I can go back to IM. I didn't think my homework was that bad before but my grades went way up and I even have an A in English this quarter, so at least my parents are leaving me alone about it now.

I have to have a conference with my teacher and my parents tomorrow and i am not happy about it. my teacher called home because i'm not doing well but it's totally not fair because i am passing fine. i mean i don't have an a but i'm not one of those crazy strait a people who have a life crisis every time they get a c on a test or something.

i hate my teacher. not usually i know but today i do because she totally made my parents mad at me. she told them that my grades have gone down but that the place they'd gone down the most was with my homework. she said all the stuff i do as homework is way worse than the stuff i do in class. i told her, well, so? there are way funner things to do at home than homework but at least i do it. half the people in class don't even do homework so she should be grateful i do any at all. she gave me the whole this isn't about them it's about you thing and my parents backed her on it. then they kept talking and asking me questions about distractions and my teacher asked if i had im up all the time when i was working on homework. i was like well yeah, of course. how else can i talk to my friends when i'm at home? i can't use my phone all the time cuz my parents won't get unlimited texting.
that got them all talking and asking more questions and they wanted to know how many windows i usually have open at a time and i guessed three or so. they wanted to know how i can concentrate on my work with all those conversations happening at the same time and i said i don't know, i just do. my teacher though she didn't think i could and she said that's why my writing in class is so much better than my homework, because i'm not allowed to have any other programs open in class.
grown ups are so lame. now i have to do my homework while my parents are in the room so they can keep me off im and things. its such a pain but then at least i am fast at it and get it done right away so i can talk after i'm done.
